About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide input on statistical scientific and operational aspects of the planning, design and reporting of trials/programs
• Provide statistical expertise to support submission activities and documents, meetings with and responses to Health Authorities and other drug development activities, as required
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory and other strategic functions to drive quantitative decision making. Explain statistical concepts in a manner easily understood by non-statisticians
• Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., data management, programming, medical writing) to ensure timelines and quality of statistical deliverables
• Identify, evaluate, and promote the use and acceptance of innovative methods within and outside the organization, , through scientific collaborations, publications in scientific peer reviewed journals, presentations and chairing sessions at professional conferences

Essential Requirements:
• MS or PhD (in Statistics or equivalent) with relevant work experience (depending on the level of the position)
• Fluent English oral and written
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge and expertise in Statistics; Skilled in statistical software packages (e.g. SAS, R)
• Able to work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve team’s objective; Strong knowledge of drug development and Health Authority guidelines
• Effective utilization of innovative statistics and quantitative analytics to influence assigned trial/program team decision
